...well, all nature declares his glory, does it not?<br /><br />i think also of the hymn "how great thou art." it was my grandfather's favorite and i cannot hear it without thinking of him standing in the pew weeping as he sang "when i in awesome wonder, consider all the world thy hand have made. i see the stars, i hear the rolling thunder. thy power throughout the universe displayed..." he was a man of the earth and aside from appreciating the gift of grace he found in god i think he loved this hymn so much because it spoke to that core of who he was that revelled in being intimate with the earth and seeing it as an expression of his god.<br /><br />thanks for sharing this piece. i quite enjoyed it and your brief thoughts on it.<br /><br />btw, fall is my favorite season too, in great part due to the vibrant colors.limehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17259558876349307173noreply@blogger.com
